1. Who is responsible

Dicti Team is the data controller for Dicti. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@dicti.ai.

2. Data we collect

  • Your email address, used to create and secure your account and send essential service messages.
  • Learning content and progress, such as word lists, text excerpts, notes, exercises, answers, and review history. Please do not submit sensitive personal information.
  • Technical and activity logs needed for security, troubleshooting, and reliable operation, such as timestamps, actions, errors, browser or device details, and IP addresses recorded by our infrastructure.
  • Necessary cookies for sign-in, security, preferences, and core service functions.
  • If you consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads receive page and feature usage, registration events, approximate location, device or browser information, and online identifiers to help us understand usage and measure our advertising. We do not send your email or learning content to these tools.

3. Why we use it

  • To provide your account, exercises, progress tracking, and reviews as part of our agreement with you.
  • To protect, maintain, and improve Dicti based on our legitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable service.
  • To comply with legal obligations where required.
  • To understand usage, improve Dicti, and measure how well our advertising works through Google Analytics and Google Ads, only with your consent. You may refuse or withdraw consent without losing access to Dicti.

4. Cookies and analytics

Necessary cookies make Dicti work and remember your choice. Optional analytics and advertising measurement cookies are activated only after you agree in Cookie settings. We do not enable personalized advertising or enhanced conversions. You can change your choice at any time in Cookie settings.

5. Sharing and international processing

We do not sell or rent personal data. Data is disclosed only to service providers needed to run Dicti, or when required by law. Some providers may process data outside the EEA using applicable legal safeguards.

6. How long we keep data

  • Account and learning data are kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days after a verified deletion request, except for limited backups or legal obligations.
  • Operational and security logs are normally kept for no more than 90 days, unless an incident requires longer retention.
  • Google Analytics user-level and event-level data is configured for a maximum retention period of 14 months.

7. Your choices

You can delete your account at any time and stop using Dicti. You can also change or withdraw your consent to analytics cookies through Cookie settings. Applicable law may give you additional rights.

If you are below the age at which you may consent to online services in your country, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use of Dicti.
